Shopee charges up to three fees on every sale: a commission fee (6.54%–17.44% depending on category, seller type, and whether you are on the Promo Xtra Programme), a transaction fee (3.27%), and, if you are on Promo Xtra, a Promo Xtra service fee (3.27% or 5.45% depending on category, capped at $60, rising to 4.36% or 6.54% capped at $70 on Double-Digit, 15th and 25th campaign orders). Each fee is calculated on the gross settlement amount, which is the purchase value plus any Shopee-sponsored vouchers, and rounded to the cent. The transaction fee is the exception: Shopee charges it on the final payment amount, which also includes buyer-paid shipping. This calculator leaves shipping out, so its transaction fee is slightly lower than what you will actually be charged on a delivered order. These fees are deducted before you receive your payout.

Purchase value is what the buyer actually pays: product price minus all discounts and vouchers. Gross settlement is the purchase value plus Shopee-sponsored vouchers (since Shopee reimburses you for those). Shopee calculates your fees based on the gross settlement amount, except the transaction fee, which is charged on the final payment amount including buyer-paid shipping.

As long as you sell on Shopee, these platform fees are unavoidable — they are automatically deducted from every sale.
