This happens when someone sends it to you over WhatsApp or email, or you are shopping online using your phone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How do you scan a qr code on your phone screen? Here is the solution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Save the QR Code to Your Phone&#8217;s Gallery<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The first step is to save the QR code image to your phone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If it&#8217;s an image in a chat app or email, you can usually tap and hold on the image to get an option to &#8220;Save to Gallery,&#8221; &#8220;Save Image,&#8221; or &#8220;Download.&#8221;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the QR code is on a webpage, you can take a screenshot. Most phones do this by pressing the power and volume down buttons simultaneously, but check your specific phone model&#8217;s instructions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Open Your Preferred Banking or Payment App<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the QR code is saved, open the mobile banking app you use for PayNow transactions. Popular options include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>UOB TMRW<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>DBS PayLah!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>DBS\/POSB digibank<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>OCBC Digital app<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other banking apps that support PayNow QR scanning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Locate the &#8220;Scan&#8221; or &#8220;Scan &amp; Pay&#8221; Feature<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Within your banking app, find the primary button or option to initiate a QR payment. Review the Payment Details<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If the app successfully reads the QR code image, it will show a preview page. Make sure the details are correct. If it was a dynamic QR code, the amount will be pre-filled. If not, you need to enter the amount now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">7. Confirm the Payment<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If all the details are correct, confirm the payment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That&#8217;s it!
